We are updating and improving our website. The first part of this process has been the transfer of our content to the new platform with the help of Darren Power. This allows us to update the content on the site and to communicate with you about our plans and activities.
The transfer and updating of content is in progress and we hope you find our presentation of it engaging.
We will keep you informed of several projects with partners:
- An exploration of Mi’kmaq natural science and culture with Sherwood Park Education Centre,
- A nature based, active learning extension of a grade five science unit on simple machines with Brookland Elementary School with the support of the Cape Breton Regional Central Health Board,
- Earth Adventure Series activities with Cape Breton Trails Association and CBRM Recreation,
- Improved signage on the trails with the support of the Cape Breton Regional Central Health Board,
- Self guided nature walk on the trails.
