Four classes of grade five students from Brookland Elementary School along with teachers, staff and parents visited Baille Ard on May 28 and May 29. While there, they took part in hands on activities directly related to units of study in their science curriculum. Many thanks to the summer staff from CBRM Recreation who did an outstanding job of leading the classes through small group experiences on weather, forces, levers and pulleys. Classes also took a walk through the trails and enjoyed their lunch outdoors before walking back to school.
